Spent practically two weeks on this one. Feel free to skim and pick and choose what to read. It's a freaking doozy. Also, I need a life.

Reviews for the movies A Fish Called Wanda, The Little Mermaid (2023), and Elemental, the short Dug Days: Carl's Date, all 22 episodes of Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Season 5, the first season of Tiny Toons Looniversity, the latest episodes of Star Trek: Lower Decks, and Star Trek: Very Short Treks, the season finale of Harley Quinn, the latest episodes of Batwheels, Spidey And His Amazing Friends, and American Dad!, and the novel Duma Key.

You can do this, Matt. Nicorette can help. That reminds me. I need to take up smoking.

Gilda And Meek And The Un-Iversing Tomorrow. I'm pooped of reviews for a few days.

Why exactly aren't The Little Mermaid: The Animated Series and Aladdin: The Series on DVD in box sets yet? I understand that most of the sales for The Disney Afternoon shows fizzled out on the second release but I would think Little Mermaid and Aladdin would be a different story because the source material (i.e. the feature films) are so well known amongst families. Not only would they get sales from fans of the shows but if the sets weren't too expensive soccer moms would pick them up for their kids even if they had never heard of them before. They'd certainly sell as well as all of those dozens of Disney Cheapquels they used to put out. What is the logic behind not releasing these? Help me out here.

By the way The New Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh should be released for the same reason although that might be a tougher sell because that show was aimed at slightly younger viewers. Still, there's no reason releases for TV shows based on cultural phenomenon like The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and Winnie the Pooh wouldn't sell like hotcakes.

Also, I got NINE new plushies today. I got Huey, Dewey and Louie, Beast from Beauty and the Beast, Bernard and Miss Bianca from The Rescuers, Ariel's sisters Adrina and Adella from the Disney Store and a Baby Shrek from Build-a-Bear Workshop! I love my new plushies! I had been looking for Huey, Dewey and Louie FOREVER! Now I have Disney Store plushies of the entire core cast of Disney characters (Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Daisy Duck, Chip, Dale, Huey, Dewey, Louie and Uncle Scrooge)! Hooray!

Some reviews to get out of the way. I'll be reviewing the original Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, the premiere of Creature Comforts plus the latest issue of Walt Disney's Comics and Stories. Beware spoilers.

So apparantly Mickey Mouse and Friends, Donald Duck and Friends, Donald Duck Adventures, and Mickey Mouse Adventures have all been cancelled. I REALLY hope they get some titles to replace them because this only leaves two comic books (Uncle Scrooge and Walt Disney's Comics and Stories). I picked up the last issue of Donald Duck and Friends today along with the Halloween Donald Duck giveaway. I also picked up two issues of the new Spike miniseries Asylum and the latest issues of Teen Titans Go! and Justice League Unlimited. I got the final Starburst Edition of Farscape and plushies of Daisy Duck, Pinnochio, Ariel and Abby from Chicken Little at the Disney Store along with Big Bird from Build-a-Bear Workshop. I love my new plushies but I'm really bummed that FOUR comic book titles I read got cancelled.

Best Buy also had plushies of Flounder and Sebastian so I pick up one of each (one of them was free). I also finally found Gobo Fraggle at Target. I love Target. It seems like they always have plushies of things that came out in the eighties. I've seen Puffalumps, Pound Puppies, Care Bears, Cabbage Patch Kids, and Muppet Babies. I expect to see the Popples or the Hugga Bunch any day now.

I love my new plushies and I can't wait to watch The Little Mermaid tonight.

I bought the Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck Companion, Bone Volume Four: The Dragonslayer, the latest issues of Angel Spotlight, Teen Titans Go, Mickey Mouse and Friends and Mickey Mouse Adventures. I also bought a Justice League video game (the kind that plugs directly into your TV). I also picked up small plushies of Sebastian and Flounder from The Little Mermaid.
