I've watched five episodes so far. It's really good. I will have a review up shortly but this review will be different from all of my other DVD reviews. Since I've never seen the show before now I thought it might be fun to write each little mini-review about each episode right after I watched the episode but before I had seen the next one. This way the review will be filled with theories and guesses which by the end of the review may turn out to be totally baseless. It will be similar to my Lost reviews except you'll see all my crazy guesses together. I will edit the review after I see the whole series for spelling and stuff but I will keep all of the original thoughts I had after seeing each episode intact. Let me know what you guys think about it.

I have almost finished my Darkwing Duck set and I already finished Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Fast Forward and The Muppet Show along with Dr. Strange. Reviews on all will be up shortly.

I saved up my money and bought SEVEN DVDs today. I got the tenth season of The Simpsons, The Muppet Show Season 2, Darkwing Duck Volume Two, TMNT, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Fast Forward Volume Two, Star Trek Generations, and Star Trek Insurrection. Reviews of all will be forthcoming but it will take me a long time to finish all of them.

One of the most aggravating things about fandom is people screaming for a specific release on DVD but whenever there is something wrong with the DVD like a minor edit or cut people say they aren't going to bother buying the DVD. Now I KNOW there are some people who truly WOULD buy The Muppet Show if it was completely uncut and ALL of the music rights had been cleared but it's been my experience that whenever someone SAYS they aren't going to buy a DVD release because there's an edit or the extras aren't good, or it isn't in widescreen these are people who had no plans to buy the DVD anyways.

I've found myself in this predicament recently. I swore that I would NEVER buy the original Star Wars trilogy in Special Edition format. For me it was the originals or nothing. But the absolute truth is that the original trilogy is FAR down on my list of DVD priorities to get. But since Lucas FINALLY agreed to put the dang things out I HAD to get them so I didn't feel like a whiner. So I've been picking them up one at a time the past couple of weeks.

Some people are STILL complaining that they aren't remastered. I don't care one whit if they are or not. I SAID I'd buy the original trilogy when Lucas released it and he did. He gave the fanbase EXACTLY what it it had been clamoring for and people STILL have the nerve to complain. But again, I have the feeling some of these are people who NEVER planned on buying the thing in the first place and just enjoy hearing themselves witch about it.
