I've watched five episodes so far. It's really good. I will have a review up shortly but this review will be different from all of my other DVD reviews. Since I've never seen the show before now I thought it might be fun to write each little mini-review about each episode right after I watched the episode but before I had seen the next one. This way the review will be filled with theories and guesses which by the end of the review may turn out to be totally baseless. It will be similar to my Lost reviews except you'll see all my crazy guesses together. I will edit the review after I see the whole series for spelling and stuff but I will keep all of the original thoughts I had after seeing each episode intact. Let me know what you guys think about it.

I have almost finished my Darkwing Duck set and I already finished Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Fast Forward and The Muppet Show along with Dr. Strange. Reviews on all will be up shortly.

Holy poop! I am thoroughly impressed. DuckTales, Chip 'N' Dale's Rescue Rangers and even Darkwing Duck don't hold up well to the standards that cartoons set in the late nineties but Talespin is a whole 'nother story entirely. I am impressed with how subtle and just plain GOOD the writing is and the action scenes are actually EXCITING. The plots and stakes set up are absolutely wonderful. It's like an animated Disney Comic, of which I know of no higher praise. Lots of cuteness and melodrama and the gags and animation are great. Fun and likable characters too.

And I LOVE how they set up Shere Khan (played by the late great Tony Jay) as a business man who operates dangerously in the shadows and is a real threat. Man, the voice acting on this show (ESPECIALLY by the late Ed Gilbert and Jim Cummings) is terrific.

Did I mention it has one of the greatest cartoon theme songs EVER? I think the only cartoon with a better theme song is Freakazoid. Even favorites of mine like Mighty Mouse: The New Adventures and Teen Titans aren't as great.

Wow. This was a GREAT kids show. I wish it had been on when I was younger as it debuted when I was in high school. But DANG, it was a good show. I can't wait to watch the rest of the set. I have a feeling Darkwing may be neglected for a while. *****.

I finished the Simpsons Season Eight too and I'll have a review of that up shortly. Short review: The greatest Simpsons season out of all seventeen. You heard me.

I saw Melissa AND went home to see my father and my niece. I am POOPED.

Me and Melissa had fun. I like being silly around Melissa.

I got Talespin and Darkwing Duck at Best Buy today because they were twenty bucks each if you bought them both togather. I had a bad feeling they'd edit out some of the stuff from the pilots of each and I was right. Kind of a bummer.

I blew bubbles with my niece. She is so cute and dances around when I blow my bubbles.

My dad is lame. While we were driving home we saw an armored car and my Dad told my niece they were taking the money to the bank. She asked why and he told her about how those trucks are supposed to take the money there or something, I don't know,I just kind of fazed out. I told my Dad that if she had asked me I would have just lied to her and said the armored truck robbed the bank and was taking the money back because they felt guilty. I gotta say, if I were a parent I'd be AWFULLY tempted to abuse my power as a source of information when I could be entertaining myself and hopefully getting my kid to repeat the misinformation to teachers or their mom. Calvin's Dad is my favorite character in Calvin and Hobbes for a reason.

Got a new Donald Duck Comic in the mail. Review below. (Spoilers)

'Bout dang time. That's pretty much the last Disney Afternoon show from the classic era that needed a major release and I'm glad it's getting one. It will probably make me broke though since DuckTales 2 and Chip 'N' Dale 2 are coming out on the same day.

I really hope Disney releases the last Gargoyles soon though. I really want my collection complete. Here is the number and address for WDHV again:
