LOTS of stuff to do today!

I got to see Melissa today and we talked about my new food stamp money. Then I went to a psychiatrist appointment only to find out it was tomorrow. I went out for supper. I did my grocery shopping. AND my toilet broke and one of the apartment fixers guys fixed it. I have so much respect for people who can fix things like that. They are awesome.
Today was so hot out it was actually painful on my skin but Massachusetts seems to be getting off easier than some of the rest of the country even if temperatures ARE in the upper nineites. Just received my new Entertainment Weekly and Al Gore is on the cover so that made me smile. Maybe the world won't blow up after all.
I'm rewatching season six of Buffy and I'll be seeing the death of Tara tonight. I will probably do a seperate entry for what I thought of the Tara character and what Amber Benson brought to the show along with a review for season six. He's a preview of the season six review: a LOT of the season made me unhappy and not just because it was depressing.
My Mom's going on vacation tomorrow for ten days so I'm going to call her tonight.

Date: 2006-07-18 02:47 am (UTC)I realized something. I complain about things as a fan all the time, 65% of that is because it isn't faithful to the source material/character and 45% of that because I'm a prude (hence my problem with Buffy season six...although "Once More With Feeling" is still in my top five episodes).
Where is mom going?

"Wait, it wasn't in the 90's there? It was like 97 in Connecticut!"
Oh yes it was. But there was a HUGE chunk of the country (including, I kid you not, South Dakota) where it was in the 100s.
