At the risk of sounding cliche, The Godfather holds most of my memories about Robert. As part of an assignment in film class back in my high school years, the class watched that film and drafted up some essays about not just the story and setting, but about the various techniques the cinematographers used throughout the work.
I'm curious to check out his other works now. From what I'm hearing, not only was Duvall a major Hollywood icon, but he had significant military credentials too -- which makes sense for his role in the film M*A*S*H.
