They offer a LOT of complaints. Most of the complaints being bullshit culture warrior stuff is a problem, especially for impressionable viewers who don't really understand why the things they are saying are bullshit. But even if they were right about Wokeness and Social Justice Warriors do you know what is missing from all those complaints?
Solutions. Ways the producers / creators can and should do better. Solidly identifying the problem in the story and how it should have been resolved instead. And no, bitching about casting is not a real complaint. It's weird so many people think it is.
I have very strong opinions in my reviews, and occasionally very UNPOPULAR opinions there too. But I hope whenever I talk about something I don't like, the things I have against it are more specific than a tired political talking point. I want my complaints to be on-topic, not nebulous.
Also I figured with my comic, because I DO hate so much current stuff, if nobody was going to tell a story the way I believed it should be told, I would have to do it myself.
How many Neckbeards have taken up that specific challenge?
None, that I'm aware. It is VERY easy to tear something down. Your opinions don't even have to be argued in good faith to do it. Bullshit moves the world even faster than truth. But... but... the true pop-culture challenge is creating. Building something instead of destroying it doesn't just take a certain level of talent. I believe it also takes a mindset of commitment willing to work hard and make the world a better place. This is... NOT the Neckbeards.
