Dream Productions "Part 1: The Dream Team"
I feel comfortable being blunt. That sucked. Full stop.
The premise of the episode being that repeating oneself is a bad thing is ironic because that's all Pixar does now.
This is a LOT like Monsters At Work, with none of either the creativity or interesting characters. It's essentially turning a fantastical premise into a boring workplace comedy.
I'd say Pixar needs an intervention at this point, but it's so long overdue it won't get one. *.
Dream Productions "Part 2: Out Of Body"
Terrible. Honestly, Paula will probably go down in history as the worst and most unlikable lead character in a Pixar project ever. The mom from Bao has been dethroned. What is Pixar thinking with this character? There is not a single kid in the audience who will either like her or root for her.
This show is a disaster. *.
Dream Productions "Part 3: Romance!"
The highest compliment I can give this series is that the first season is only four episodes long.
One more of these pieces of shit to get through and I'm done. *.
Dream Productions "Part 4: A Night To Remember"
The least terrible of the four episodes but that is not remotely a compliment.
The series proves Inside Out is not franchise material. I don't care how much money that overrated sequel made.
Also, speaking as a person who routinely lucid dreams, that isn't remotely how they work.
I am glad that's over. **.
