Sadly, we are living in a time where one political party has made it crystal clear, more than ever, that America was NEVER about democracy. Their one chance at destroying it failed on Jan. 6, 2021, and now they're going full rage mode.
How else can one explain the assault on women's' rights? The same people claiming that abortion is a sin because it "kills kids" won't do a damn thing about a weapon designed only to kill that is now the #1 CAUSE OF DEATH for children. They claim its because the 2nd Amendment is basically absolute. I dare anyone, I double dare anyone to tell me how that makes sense.
How else can one explain the relentless stream of measures directed to suppress the minority vote? Drinking water in line kicks you out and you can't vote?
How else can one explain the constant efforts to kill history? Can you really look me in the eye and tell me that teaching African American history and the TRUTH behind this country's founding is a bad thing? It makes children feel uncomfortable and guilty? Last time I checked, learning CAN be painful. But guess what? We have to do it anyway, 'cause that's the only way we grow.
So in a sense, this political party's full of whiny little bitches who're mad that their toys were taken from them as punishment for their delinquency. As a result, they've decided to burn the house down. Honestly, if anyone thinks that these guys even REMOTELY believe in elections and democracy anymore, well, Jan. 6 happened. And they've made it clear they ain't afraid to go Round 2 - just read their reactions to Mr. 45's LEGIT indictment concerning willful retention of classified documents. "We need to start killing on a genocidal scale." Yeah, that's REAL patriotic and something to be proud of.
And then you wonder why they hate Islamic terrorists so much, calling them "monsters". There's a phrase called "cut from the same cloth". Maybe these guys should learn what it means.
Well, Trump is basically a sociopathic narcissist with a God complex and a fascination with white supremacy. What IS there to like about such a skunk? No wonder why the GOP called Mike Pence "Judas". I don't like the guy. AT ALL. BUT he did his job as a true American while these ass-clowns still call for his execution because he betrayed the "Orange Jesus". I'm a Christian (a TRUE one, not one that believes God is white - last time I checked, didn't these guys say God is invisible?), and to see these so-called "God-fearing" men openly denounce Him and embrace a wild, untamed animal as their "Lord and Savior" is pitiful and friggin' blasphemous.
Obviously they don't read their damn Bibles, they might as well burn 'em in the streets like those rejected books of old.
What pisses me off is when Trump is called "charismatic". I dispute that. The kid on the playground who eats worms has plenty of admirers too. That doesn't make him charismatic.
In my opinion, it's Mr. 45's volatile and fragile-as-an-eggshell ego, stemming from his obvious malignant narcissism, that compels these GOP ants to kiss his ass and follow the leader. They know he'll put a hit on them like a Mafia boss for saying anything that even SLIGHTLY sets him off, that carries even the POSSIBILITY of making him feel unworthy of undying worship. They saw what he did to Mike Pence, his own Vice President (read: right-hand man, highest confidant) on Jan. 6, 2021 and his refusal (to this day) to acknowledge the subsequent mortal danger toward Pence AND his entire family (not to mention invalidating EVERY life lost on said day except for that of an insignificant, radicalized domestic terrorist bent on murder (a matryr? Seriously!?)), and they've fallen in line like soldiers to a commanding officer. We've all seen that anyone Trump ASSUMES to be a threat is instantly marked for death on Falsehood Central, or the Cult of the 45th.com, i.e. Alvin Bragg (he's Black, so that carries extra weight outright), Adam Schiff ("'Shifty Shiff' committed treason! Bring me his head!"), Mike Pence ("Maybe our supporters have the right idea. [Mike Pence] deserves it. He STILL deserves it.") and many others. And he sentenced over a million Americans to death through his utter, deliberate negligence of COVID-19, even after HE HIMSELF got it and had the balls to say that drinking disinfectant kills the virus (Um, sir, did YOUR doctors tell you that while you were being hospitalized?). Total disregard for any human life but his own.
A journalist on Al Jazeera wrote that these guys are oblivious to the fact that if this sadist ever regains access to the nuclear codes, it'll mean the end of civilization. Pretty wise fella if you ask me. And Mr. 45's campaign, before it even officially started, had made it's meaning plain: Revenge. Death. Destruction. To me, what it comes down to is that these mighty, "patriotic" flunkies are afraid of the judgement of the almighty Orange Jesus. It's basically a homegrown Vladimir Putin, Saddam Hussein, or *in mockingly shivering tone of voice* Adolf Hitler. They've said for 3-4 years now that the 2020 election was stolen. How can it be stolen when the whiner-in-chief himself said a month or so before the election that "Frankly, there won't be a transfer, there will be a continuation"? Maybe they can't read or don't know how to interpret this, but that basically means, "My ass is glued to THIS leather chair in MY White House, screw election results, this is how I roll." Nothing about "stolen elections" registers with this statement. But I digress.
If Trump and his goon squad could get away with abusing their power back then, then maybe it's time for the current administration to do likewise for the good of the country. The bastard committed treason in plain sight, broadcast it on every television in the world, and that alone should have barred him from ever running for office again, as the Constitution clearly states. I don't care if this sounds harsh, but by clear definition by the Constitution of the United States, Donald Trump has committed many crimes throughout his wretched life in office - including lying under his Oath of Office, Covid-19 genocide via deliberate neglect, stoking racial violence/killing, treason, and espionage - that are worthy of capital punishment. I've seen many dictators in history meet this fate. Trump's not even a dictator in the official sense, he's a wannabe. But his crimes DO warrant the punishment of a mass murderer and domestic terrorist, and his actions have proven that that is exactly what he is. It really bothers me knowing the reality that had this been ANY OTHER politician, they'd be grass in a month or so.
There's no clean way through this, I'm sure there's gonna be violence whether Trump gets canned or, God forbid, escapes justice (again). The only thing that the remaining sane minds in this ailing nation can do now is stop the fuggin' bleeding.
