RIP Garry Shandling.

It's Garry Shandling's Show, along with The Tracy Ullman Show, Married...With Children, In Living Color, Get A Life, Roc, and The Simpsons were my whole Sunday Night in the late 80's early 90's. How cool was Fox's line-up back then? Batman: The Animated Series actually had a brief run on Fox Primetime.
His small appearances as Senator Stern in both Iron Man 2 and Captain America: The Winter Soldier were the best parts of both of those movies. He whispers "Hail, Hydra!" and I get chills.
Man, I will never forget It's Garry Shandling's Show, or how meta it was before the concept of meta had even been invented. I need to catch The Larry Sanders Show now. I saw a few episodes and I really liked them, but I wasn't really able to follow it because it was on HBO, and didn't get a proper DVD release for the longest time.
