Two thoughts are occurring to me as the TV season winds down and both make me angry. I don't really care anymore how inappropriate and unprofessional Dan Harmon's behavior was to Chevy Chase. Chase started the feud by saying the show sucked to an interviewer. Of COURSE Harmon was gonna push back on that especially since he started being impossible to work with for the finale.

Honestly, Chevy Chase should thank his lucky stars Community came along. He'd still be a nobody if the show hadn't rehabilitated his terrible image. I agree with Chase that Pierce isn't funny. But I also disagree with Chase that HE is. Pierce is so unappealing because Chevy is. Chase has always been an overrated talent who has had an unjustly high opinion of himself. His ego is why nobody likes working with him.

As for House, I've realized that as weeks count down to the finale it is probably the worst show I routinely watch on a weekly basis (and yes, I also watch Ringer, Law and Order: SVU and SNL). I have no idea why I got into it but I should have stopped watching it years ago. I only watched this season to see where they were going to take the show without Cuddy and Thirteen who were the two most interesting characters. I shouldn't have bothered.

House is so terrible not because House is unlikable and nowhere near as funny as Fox would lead you believe. It sucks because it thinks it speaks deeply on the human condition every week when it fact it is a cliche that uses the same unbelievable story every week. I'd probably take more of it's observations on human nature even a LITTLE bit seriously if the entire show wasn't so unbelievable and made up. It's probably the most unrealistic "realistic" show I've watched since I completely gave up on David E. Kelly. And it's just as bad.

The only reason I am still watching is because since I stuck with it this long, I would be foolish not to watch a few more episodes to see how it ends. But considering how predictable the show is I can tell you what is going to happen in the last episode: House is going to die. There is no other way the show can end. The character has been murdering himself slowly for 8 years. There is no happy ending for him. And I bet when they kill him off the writers will think they are being shocking and profound when it is literally the most predictable thing they could have done.

Anyone willing to take a bet I'm wrong?
