I'm going to my neice's funeral tomorrow

My sister is really sad and so am I. My neice was cremated and they are having a small ceremony for her tomorrow. My sister asled me to buy a plushie for her to put next to her urn. I got her a little plushie Mickey Mouse.

It makes me sad that my neice wasn't born. Her name was going to be Abigail Sky. She never knew how wonderful my sister was and what a loving mother she had. She never got to do any of the things little kids get to do like play outside or watch the Muppets on TV. Thinking about that makes me sad, but it's much harder for my sister.

My sister is happy that I'm going. I don't usually go to family gatherings because I get scared of crowds but my sister, my Bill and Abigail mean a great deal to me. I love my sister and my neice who WAS born and Bill too. I wish things like this didn't happen. I keep being told stuff like this happens for a reason but it doesn't make it any easier.
