Melissa's going on vacation for her birthday.

I felt bad that I didn't get her a present. I tried to give her one of my little plushie Elmos but she rightly brought him back because I would miss him too much. She told me he wouldn't be mad at me for giving him away and that it meant a great deal to her that I wanted to give her a present that badly.

I drew a card for her instead. It wasn't that great because it was rushed but she said she liked it anyways.

I'll miss her when she's in Aruba. She said she'll send me a post card and that I will see her in ten days.
