Also a review for the latest episode of Smallville. Spoilers for all three episodes.

Legion of Super Heroes "In Your Dreams"

This episode wasn't perfect but I liked it anyways. A LOT of the conflict on the team seemed REALLY forced (which is par for the course for this series) but I liked the unpredictable twists and turns the story took. The ending with the holograms took a LITTLE suspension of disbelief but I liked it anyways.

Brainiac 5 kicked butt as usual. I liked how he used the tactics of what the bad guys THOUGHT they saw on the dream machine to trick them. I liked the villains too. All in all, a pretty good episode. ****.

The Spectacular Spider-Man "Market Forces"

Nowhere near as good as last week, but I still enjoyed it. I love how this show keeps setting up things for later in the series. I have a feeling that the longer the show goes on the cooler it will be (much like the DCAU).

I had no idea Shocker was a redneck. Jim Cummings didn't play him that way on the old show.

The running gag of Peter smelling bad wasn't very funny. I DO really like this version of Jameson however. He's not as good as J.K. Simmons but he's WAAAAAAAAAAYYYY funnier than Ed Asner.

This episode was only pretty good but I am still looking forward to seeing this show progress as it goes along. ***1/2.

Smallville "Traveler"

I wasn't too impressed with this episode, probably because I find Lionel Luthor MUCH more interesting as Clark's ally and I liked the juxtoposition of him turning good while Lex is turning evil. The very end of the episode in which Lex had Swann's daughter killed leads me to believe that they may be setting Lionel up to be the series' Snape in which you question his loyalties until the very end. But I REALLY hope he explains himself better to Clark next week. **1/2.

Yeah, I think they didn't use the traditional person for the Shocker. Not sure why...I still thought the design was neat.

He looked a lot like the Shocker from the old cartoon. I liked it too.

The Shocker is traditionally a guy named Herman Shultz, but since they're trying to tie all the villains to the Big Man and his schemes, they gave the suit to Montana, who we've already seen with the Enforcers.

Sometimes the simplest solution is the best one. Ockham's Razor!

Chris, do you think the Enforcers will only last the season or sort of come and go like Intergang did on STAS?

Did you mean Occam's Razor? Was that misspelling intentional or did you just have Doc Ock on the brain? ;)

Actually either spelling is the correct but mine was a total pun, nyuk nyuk.

I think they won't have as much of a presence after the Big Man is defeated (which I assume he will be and then sent to jail), but the could pop up from time to time in future seasons.
