James has informed me that Bird Boy and Jim Harvey have in no uncertain terms said that a campaign was out of the question on Toon Zone. Since the campaign CANNOT be successful outside of Toon Zone I'm dropping it for now. I've been scanning the board quickly and there has been a LOT more grumbling than there was when these projects were first announced about there being no more DCAU than there was initially. The only thing I can hope for is that is enough people REALLY want a campaign on Toon Zone, that one will be allowed. I don't know who to make these requests to but I don't think I'm the only one who is disappointed.
By the way, I think if we DO do a campaign it need to take place BEFORE September. We need to organize mass buyings of DVDs for the big October 24th release date. I seriously suggest that anyone who visits Toon Zone who WANTS a campaign let the mods know about it. I haven't yet decided what I'm going to do yet.
To be honest, I'm REALLY angry at Grimlock. If he had been willing to WORK with the mods instead of being so confrontational, doing this particular campaign would have been easy. I changing my mood from disappointed to frustrated.
