For me, that premiere was an event. I can't recall ever looking forward to a new series so much. There are a few things I remember vividly waiting for as a fan: Each season premiere of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: The Next Generation. The final Harry Potter book. And the relaunch of Twin Peaks. But the premiere of Justice League is something I still have fond memories of.
Opinion: As far as JL/U episodes go, "Secret Origins" isn't so hot.
Further opinion: I still enjoy it more than practically any other DC cartoon I can think of.
Also, for a little context, I was 26 years old when the series premiered. Me loving it has nothing to do with childhood nostalgia blindness. I was aware of its faults at the time as an adult viewer, and loved the show anyways. And you can't take that away from me.
