Aside from using Brock early on (and making him a childhood friend of Peter's), Spectacular Spider-Man follows the comics more than the 90's series did. But it's still doing its own thing, which is great. It is understandable why Brock hates Peter, but Peter isn't being completely selfish. It's not like he's making money to get rich, he needs that money to support himself and Aunt May. And on top of that, he is saving the day as Spider-Man. He could stand to be a better friend, but there's nothing selfish in what he's doing.
The Indiana Jones movies kind of run together for me (guess I could stand seeing them again), but I know I enjoyed all of them, even if I hated Short Round.
