There's a diary on Daily Kos titled "I am so embarrassed to be an American right now".

I recced it before I even read it because I knew exactly what it was talking about.

I am mortified.

I stand with Ukraine.

To my friends in Ukraine.

I stand with you. The poosquirt who calls himself President does not speak for me and he does not speak for all of us.

I would love to shirk responsibility for this entirely, but I can't, because we as the United States are a collective, and we collectively failed the world. But just know plenty of us are doing everything we can to help.

I'm sending a donation to Ukraine tomorrow. Enough is enough.
