If Josh Brolin IS cast as Hal Jordan, it is cronyism.

There were MANY reasons I was concerned about James Gunn being put in charge of DC films, but one of the more obvious worries would be that he'd pack the projects with his friends, whether they were right for the roles or not. And yeah, Brolin as Hal Jordan makes that a legit problem.

Aside from the fact that Gunn's non-Guardians of the Galaxy filmography is questionable, putting a director in charge of a huge franchise is a risk due to things like this.
