I have a sneaking suspicion James Harvey is working very hard to keep me on Toon Zone.

Earlier in the week, I came out of my Drawing Board shell, and posted my Static Shock: Season One review on Toon Zone. It got a couple of likes, but one guy came into the thread and just went off on me. I am apparently a racist for finding Richie Foley an annoying white guy. I hardly thought that was a controversial opinion. So anyways, this guy and I had a brief back and forth before I declined to argue on the board further, and took it to PM's (the guy's a Trump voter; this is my surprised face) but James Harvey couldn't have been nicer about it. He PMed me to apologize for that guy's behavior, said he'd been warned, and deleted the offending messages.

I asked him what he thought of my review, and he said it was like the good old days, which is nice as h*ll thing to say, and leads me to suspect that the mods would rather I hang around than leave again. I'm not exactly sure why that is, but James was SUCH a nice guy to me just now, that I'm kind of thinking some of the old guard might want to see some of the older posters who left for various reasons back on the board. The DC Animation Board WAS really special once upon a time, specifically before the mess that caused Dwayne McDuffie to leave, and my eventual decline on Toon Zone.

Honestly, after that exchange with that reverse racist joker, I DID consider splitting again (crap like that is why I left the last time) but James personally PMing me to smooth things over quickly changed my mind.
