Simply because I'm certain it would be the most glorious review I could ever write. I could probably do a similarly accurate take-down of Transformers: The Movie, but I kind of think that on some level, Transformers fans KNOW how crappy that movie is. Transformers Prime meant they could no longer pretend G1 was the GOOD Transformers iteration.
But Family Guy? People have been complaining about it going downhill from the first two seasons for years, when the first two seasons is arguably the worst animated television cartoon of the 1990's. I think only USA Network's animated version of "Problem Child" tops it in horribleness. I could eviscerate that piece of garbage in a REALLY brutal manner if given half the chance. Family Guy fans are delusional if they think those first two seasons are better than the relaunch. The first two seasons aren't even WATCHABLE, and I always change the channel when Adult Swim runs them. I could do a GREAT point by point deconstruction of it.
The catch is that the show was SO horrible, that I wouldn't want that trash in my house. I'd feel similar embarrassment if my video collection contained Mac and Me. I do NOT want people to think I'm about that after I'm dead and they're searching through my stuff.
