I just wrote one of the best scenes I have ever written. Possibly THE best.

I will not be able to sleep tonight.

The craziest thing about writing it to me is that is was SOOOOO easy. It was obvious. I have been living with and breathing these characters for so long it's starting to get that I don't have to come up with what happens to them anymore. I just already know.

I'm a little spooked and punchy to be honest. I have always considered myself a lousy writer where fiction was concerned. But now I don't know what to think.

Haven't done a political rant post in a few years but I'm already worked up and can't sleep, so I might as well.

So apparently Fox News is doing a sit-down interview with the Duggars over the "liberal backlash" to their family. I love that. Truly. Because if hating on child molesters is a specifically liberal value, there is an election coming up next year, and we ought to use that. With the Duggars and now Hastert, it's all "Boys will be boys" as far as Republicans are concerned. I think if voters see who is standing up for abused children, and who is making excuses for the abusers it will make a difference.

I so wanna face Huck in the general now. He's a dead man in the primaries anyways, but Hillary could probably swing 70% of the vote against that piece of dumpster frosting. I'd even bet Bernie Sanders could beat him by ten points. I can't believe I used to be afraid of this fool.

I'm sick of these sacks of garbage and I'm sick that people STILL haven't woken up against child molester enablers. Even though we're gonna win big in 2016, the Thugs are still gonna cream us in 2018. How messed up is that? I seriously do not think there is any level to which these monsters would not stoop. But there is no bottom. None whatsoever. And people are still gonna vote for 'em in droves in three years.
