It's a good rule, and made for the best of reasons (to not make the characters a bad influence to kids) but there are a couple of scenes where some of the characters SHOULD be swearing and they're not. And that just draws attention to itself, when it should be the scenario weirding you out, not the vanilla dialogue.

I will say that if I lift this ban, I will still only use an actual curse in maybe 1 out of ten issues (there are 90 in the entire Un-Iverse canon). And I include "hell" and "damn" as curses. That's how rare it will be. And none of the main heroes will be the ones with the potty mouth. With one exception.

Bernadette is going to have to drop an F bomb in one of the last issues of Gilda and Meek. Because there is no other appropriate response for what she will witness.

I only created this rule to spite Seth MacFarlane anyways. In the original 50 episodes of Family Guy he thought having a cartoon character says "What the hell?" repeatedly was an actual joke and funny enough in and of itself. But I kind of realize if I do something like this simply to spite a single creator I don't like, I'm pretty much doing the same thing as the producers of South Park, who I hate. I shouldn't tie myself down just to prove a point. MacFarlane is NOT worth me damaging my narrative.

Also if I DO make it a REALLY rare occurrence that will make the situation seem like a much bigger deal than usual. Having a character drop an F-bomb in a franchise that never had one before in issue 43 will make it that much more shocking, which I think should be the point.
