Hoo boy! Gilda and Meek damage control.

I'm rereading (and rewriting) some of my story synopsis and I cannot believe what a mess I've made in certain places. It will be easy enough to fix, but I cannot for the life of me figure out what possessed me to write certain story points the way they originally were. I stand by my earlier statement that the new stuff I've written to both clarify the story and the characters is pretty great, but I have a gigantic mess to clean up in the meantime. I can do it (adding motivations to certain characters will make it an easy fix) but I can see clearly now why I gave up on this story in the first place. It used to REALLY suck.
