Gilda and Meek are back!

I said a few months ago I was retiring the characters because the whole story just wasn't very good but after seeing Doctor Who's The Time Of The Doctor I kind of felt I owed it to myself at least to see if I could salvage a story with a strong, non-sexualized female character.

And I did. I added some MUCH needed motivation to some of the heroes and the villains, figured out what moral I was actually trying to say, and wrote some kick-butt scenes for Gilda. Will the story ultimately wind up good? I have no idea since I haven't quite finished it, or worked out all of the bugs. But I can say this: it is no longer terrible. And that's enough for me to keep going.
