Birthday Booty!
Oct. 3rd, 2011 08:48 pmThis entry is a couple of days late but I'm still a bit tired from my birthday and needed to rest up first (my Community Season Two review will be coming later tonight) but I got a lot of neat stuff.
My sister got me a $30 Amazon gift certificate which I used to purchase Jim Henson's The Storyteller: The Definitive Collection on DVD.
My mom got me $40 in birthday money with which I used to buy Wilykit from the ThunderCats toyline and two BusyTown of Richard Scarry toys (Huckle Cat and Hilda Hippo and Lowly Worm And Pig Will).
My mom and dad also got me two ThunderCats Classics Deluxe figures (Lion-O and Tygra), a Transformers Generations Deluxe Figure (Autobot Warpath), The Adventures Of Young Indiana Jones Volume Three: The Years Of Change on DVD, a small plushie Big Bird, six BusyTown plushies (Huckle Cat, Lowly Worm, Sally Cat, Hilda Hippo, Sgt. Murphy and Mr. Fixit) and a plushie monkey on top of my cake.
My Blu-Ray player was an early birthday gift from my dad.
Melissa got me a tiny plushie Rafiki (when I say tiny I mean it; he can't be more than two and a half or three inches), a plushie Twitch from Toy Story 3, a plushie Queen Of Hearts from Alice In Wonderland and a plushie Kanga from Winnie The Pooh.
Good haul this year. Most adults don't usually get as many presents as I do for my birthday but honestly, everyone around me knows how excited I get for it. I always pay it forward during my family and friends birthdays and Christmas.

My birthday celebration was nice. My nieces were being a bit loud and I got a headache but I'm better now. I ate too much and felt oogy but everything else was nice. It was good seeing my sister and we all had fun. My older niece was being a bit of a brat but I guess she's just at that age (9).
Review of Community and the season finale of Doctor Who will be coming either in a few hours or early tomorrow morning. Thank you all for the lovely birthday wishes!
