Is flirting hard?

I don't flirt. I think I've done it a total of twice in my whole life. Some people flirt all the time but I never do. I never even flirted with my ex-girlfriend. Is it OKAY not to flirt? I know people who do it all the time but I don't think I've ever done it right (usually because I wasn't aware at the time that I was flirting or that the other person was too.)
