Which just got me thinking: with the Buffyverse, the DCAU, Star Trek, Farscape, and Bone ending it seems to me it might be a vast conspiracy by the Powers That Be to get me prepared for Armageddon by making it seem not so bad.
J.K. Rowling seems to be immune to these threats and I both love her and hate her for that.
