It's 2006 now. I REALLY hope it is better than 2005 but to be honest it won't take much for that to happen. I really hope the Democrats don't blow their momentum in November but it wouldn't be the first time it's happened. The truth is I've kind of got attached to our democracy and the fact that it has been in shambles for five years bums me out.
Still getting adjusted to being off of Toon Zone. My private messages have dried up now and I don't have any reason to go back there now. Actually, I'm considering going back there after JLU's season finishes for one post to post my updated DCAU timeline. But I'm not even sure I'll do that and if I did, it would almost certainly be for just that one post.
I miss everybody. I wish stewie would visit here more often as I miss him greatly. gmahler joined live-journal too but I haven't heard anything from him yet. I've been told by people that I should go back, but I'm just not willing to do it. I assure you, it has nothing to do with pride as I lack even a shred of it. =). I just haven't felt good there for the last six months and it's much less stressful for me now, even if it is more lonely. I think I will be fine.
Still waiting for new episodes of Justice League Unlimited. It would be REALLY nice if it was renewed for another few seasons and I'm hopeful that will be the case. The fact that Teen Titans and Duck Dodgers have already been handed their pink slips and JLU hasn't just yet is an encouraging sign to me. I still think people should write letters to Cartoon Network to let them know that JLU should return. It worked for Kim Possible at least.
Lot of changes coming this year. I don't know, 2006 six feels like it's going to be a different year for me. The uncertainty of 2005 was bad enough because of the election but I get the feeling now that things are going to get worse. My sister is having another baby and that is something to look forward to but for some reason I don't see much good coming out of the new year.
I want a happy year. I really hope I and everyone else gets one.
