Well, it's been established pretty much all celebrities go to hell when they die. That one Christmas episode showed Princess Dianna, Gene Siskell, Gahndi, George Burns, JFK SR and JR all in hell, and they were preparing room for Andy Dick. So, the concept that when Steve Irwin died he went to Hell is in keeping with their show continuity, even if it's slightly unsettling.
