I agree with ClassicSwim on the job market and "college cred"; I have read stories where a White guy with a criminal history was hired for a job over a Black guy with a bachelor's and NO criminal history. And now with the Supreme Court having fucked affirmative action over, that's been the narrative for a LOT of BIPOCs looking for work.

"Equal Opportunity Employment", huh? Shut THAT shit up. My own Mom can attest to that.
