One of my greatest online rules is "Always listen to Classic Swim".
I'm not saying he's never wrong, but even when we disagree, he steers the conversation in the right direction. Toon Zone is crazy to give that up.
I have this rule for Denise Oliver Velez on Daily Kos too, and that should tell you CS is in amazing company.

The recent exchange we had before; I didn’t handle myself well. I knew that much as I was typing. Was just in rant mode over celebrities being lizard people.
I don’t force my viewpoints onto others. My enemies do that in the same way they try to peck away at me for not prefacing my own opinion the way that they wanted.
I’ve said this before, but the clique preaching to “respect other people’s beliefs and opinions” the most wouldn’t respect yours in a second. They just love trampling over words in bad faith. It’s all they really have to look precise and worthwhile. In their own mind, doing something shitty like that dignifies their existence.
Toonzone was that ten times over. Most of them were really that pathetic in trying to dominate a conversation. I’m over them now, but I’ll never let up on them being harmful and above all else, the death of discussion.
