Jar-Jar Binks is on my television screen

Why is Jar-Jar Binks on my television screen? Did someone actually think I'd WANT Jar-Jar Binks on my television screen? Whose idea was it to put Jar-Jar Binks on my television screen?

It's YOUR television screen. Why'd you put him there?

Wait, you aren't falling for the giant money making scam that is the "Clone Wars" CGI animated franchise are you? I don't even understand the point of this series after Episode III...

Morbid curiousity. They had an episode centered around Jar-Jar Binks. The series sucks but even I didn't expect them to go there.

I just don't get it. Episode III spelled it all out that the "Clone War" was one giant BS war whose only goals and purposes were 1) the advancement of Senator Palpatine's political career and 2) the annihilation of the Jedi.

So no, I can't get behind a franchise that asks me to forget Episode 3 happened and go back to that time when the Clone War seemed Legit.

I think the thing that bothers me most about the series is that George Lucas has been trying to pretend the MUCH superior Clone Wars animated shorts by Genndy Tartakovsky don't exist and has even made the DVDs out of print. He did the exact same thing to the Old Indy segments on The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles and it was to neither franchise's benefit.

George Lucas scares me. The man's in his own private universe.

It's ridiculous. He has no idea how much he's hurting his franchises and he won't listen to common sense or feedback.

Wait, the young indy dvds don't have the old indy segments? not even the when where Harrison Ford made a cameo? Man, not that they were on my agenda, but that news removes even my minimal interest in that series.

I'm not sure about the Harrison Ford segment. I know they kept that particular one when the series came to VHS but they STILL cut the George Hall ones. I don't actually OWN the DVDs for the same reason as you but yeah, this really puts them down the priorities list for me.
