It would've looked so cheap if Q was the one to solve Voyager's problems, though. I know Enterprise had an energy being episode, but I think they wanted to be light with those because of how surprised Kirk and his crew would be later. I do agree, though, they didn't need to keep those elements away.

I heard about the casting for the new movie, but haven't heard much about it since. It's planned for next summer, then?
